About the Course

Meet Alexis Akiona, founder and designer of LexBreezy Hawaiʻi, a modern aloha wear brand with storefronts at Ala Moana Center and Kailua. What started in 2016 with one roll of fabric and 50 t-shirt dresses that sold out in ten minutes at Merrie Monarch has grown into a thriving brand for women, men, and keiki. As a fashion designer and business owner, Alexis leads every part of the process from concept and pattern-making to production, team management, and retail. This profession is a blend of creative vision, cultural storytelling, and entrepreneurial hustle, making it as much a business as it is an art form.
