About the Course

Meet Jason Peel, chef and owner of Nami Kaze Hawaiʻi. Originally from Kauaʻi, Jason's path into the culinary world was anything but traditional. He started with no experience and worked his way up from prep cook to restaurant owner through curiosity, persistence, and a genuine love for bringing people together through food. As a chef and co-owner, Jason oversees everything from sourcing directly from local farms to mentoring his kitchen team and shaping the creative vision of a growing restaurant group. This profession is a blend of culinary craft, leadership, and entrepreneurial drive, making it one of the most dynamic and rewarding careers in Hawaiʻi's food industry.
